Kathy Giske

Kathy Giske is a committed follower of Jesus for over forty years. She is the Director of
Middle East Partners, a ministry involved in strengthening the community of believers in
the Middle East through leadership development and partnership.

Kathy is an Australian-Greek born in Cairo, Egypt. Living in an international community,
with its many cultures and languages, prepared her for her life’s work. She began her
career as an official in trade relations and served for six years with the Australian
Embassy in Athens, Greece. During that time she traveled throughout the Middle East
witnessing first-hand the spiritual hunger and physical needs among many living in
those nations. Her love and growing compassion for these people led her into a life of
service in international mission.

Since then, Kathy has served with the Billy Graham team as program director at four world
congresses that gave her opportunity to meet and build relationships with hundreds of leaders from every continent. She served in leadership with World Vision International, Issachar, and for thirteen years as Associate Director with Presbyterian Frontier Fellowship. Through her growing networks, Kathy connected resources to opportunities by forming partnerships that empowered local leaders to be a force for good in their community.

In her role with Middle East Partners, Kathy is able to converge a lifetime of leadership experience and passion to empower this strategic vision. Kathy and her husband Steve live in Seattle, WA and are members at University Presbyterian Church. Although they have no children of their own, they enjoy mentoring and encouraging a growing family of wonderful younger leaders helping them discover and develop their God-given gifts and callings.
